Back to Business

Friends after being sick for most of last week I'm on the mend. I went back to school yesterday for the first time in a week. They were surprised to see my tooth and my new haircut. It's been pretty cold here so I've had to bundle up. Here's a picture of me from Sunday when I was running errands with Mommy and Nannie. They made sure I had my hood on at all time because with less hair my head would sure get cold.

Since I am feeling so good, my friend Millie and her Mommy came over for dinner last night. We had such a blast. It's fun to talk to another baby while you eat. Click on my friend Millie's name and you can see her blog. I'll leave you with a little video of me riding on my dragon.

A Cut Above

Friends I have entered an elite new club... the haircut club. I got my hair cut for the first time this morning. Here's a picture of what I looked like before my new do. My hair was so long it kept falling into my eyes. The salon was just for babies and it was such a blast but the baby next to me thought it was super scary. He screamed and cried the whole time. I didn't cry AT ALL. He was older than me but I was much, much tougher. It must have been a little scary in there because my Mommy had tears in her eyes when the stylist was cutting my hair.

I look like such a big boy now. I have the same hair style as before just shorter. I'm so glad Mommy, Daddy and Nannie were all there to see me acting as cool as a cucumber in the hair chair. The chair was the neatest part. It was designed to look like a little Campbell's Soup race car. After my haircut was done the stylist gave Mommy a little bag of my hair to keep. All Smiles

Friends I continue to battle on with my baby cold and cough but this morning I was rewarded for my efforts. I GOT A TOOTH! Now you may be asking what 10 1/2 month old baby didn't have any teeth and the answer was ME until this morning. It's just cutting through so you can't see if but you can definitely feel it. Mommy said she's not going to quit her day job to take up dental photography because she's just not that good at it. No matter how hard she filmed and snapped my tooth is as elusive as big foot... but enjoy the picture and video clip anyway.

Not Feeling So Presidential

Happy President's Day friends. I am feeling a little under the weather. Last night I developed a fever and my cheeks were burning up. My little winter cough is back and I was just not feeling right. I was super cuddly which is very rare. Don't get me wrong I'm a nice guy, but I'm very independent and don't usually want someone to hold or lay with me. I'm smiley this morning but still not 100%.

I'm staying home with Daddy while Mommy works because my daycare is closed today. Mommy says the news never closes. I have incentive to get better soon because Mommy said we could go back to the park as soon as I get better. I better go work on that right now! Friends I got to spend Valentine's Day with my two favorite girls: Mommy and Millie (and Daddy of course). I went to play at Millie's house Friday night so Mommy and Daddy could go to dinner. I have no idea why they would ever want to go to dinner without me. Saturday night Millie came to my house so her parents could go to dinner. We had such a blast. Surprisingly I wasn't interested in any of my toys until Millie touched them and then they were the most fascintating things ever! I'm going to attach an album so you can see our night.

Friends I discovered a magical place this afternoon called the park. Do you have one by your house? It's AWESOME!! Mommy, Daddy and I walked from our house to our neighborhood park. There are so many fun things for babies and big kids to do. I even let Mommy and Daddy in on the fun. Friends we took so many pictures that I uploaded them to an online album for you to see. I didn't want you to just see two or three.

Drink Up

I have finally mastered it friends... I have figured out how to use a sippy cup. I see Daddy drinking out of a cup and have been practicing with little plastic cups. Last night I stole his water glass and took a big swig. Daddy put a little water in a sippy cup and that was motivation alone to get me slurping.

Wonderful Weekend

I had a very busy weekend friends. Saturday my friend Millie and I went to a photo shoot for a commercial. We had to play with a crib toy while people ran around and took pictures and video. After the shoot we went to a brunch for Mommies and babies. I was the only boy there! I was also the oldest so I showed all those babies how to crawl and pull up to standing. Basically all they got was a rear view as I zoomed away. None of those little babies eat table food yet so I made sure to wait and have all my yummy avocado when I got home. On Sunday morning I learned the best trick ever. Mommy put me in my crib while she got everything ready for us to leave for the store. When she came back, I had taken my pants off! It was so funny and I can't wait to try that trick when we're out in public. This week I've also learned how to click my tongue and make a kissing noise. My biggest discovery of the week came at the brunch on Saturday. The host had stairs and I made a beeline straight for them and starting working my way up. At the end I've posted a little video clip of my stair shenanigans. It's not very good because Mommy had to film me and hold on to make sure I didn't fall. Gosh Mommies are such nervous Nellies! I'm growing by the day! It could have something to do with all the avocado and crackers I eat. I celebrated my 10-monthversary this week. On Sunday I started wearing clothes in the 9 month range. I haven't quite caught up to the clothes sizing yet, but I'll get there. Mommy loves it because she says I have plenty of time to outgrow a new set of clothes every week. Here's a picture of me in some new 9 month size pajamas. It was really warm here this weekend so Mommy broke out the lightweight pajamas. We even ate dinner last night with the sliding glass door open! Hopefully we won't have too much more winter weather before Spring gets here. Tub time is still my favorite time of the day. Last night I tried to capture the running water in my hands. That water is so tricky and slippery! I love when Daddy leaves the water on while I'm in the tub because I get to play with the water and even try to drink it if he's not watching too closely. Have a great Monday friends!

Bathing Beauty

Friends I got to use the big guys bathtub last night and it was so much fun. I always love to take a bath but now I have so much room for my toys. I am going to give my little bathtub to my friend Millie because she's so big now that she can sit up on her own. A lot of you have asked why my puppy girls are never on the blog. So last night I took a little video of me playing with Kayle. Lilith is a little camera shy so you don't see her very much.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Monday was my Daddy's birthday. I got to stay home from school and play with him all day. He wore me out! We drove around a little bit, we went for a walk in the neighborhood and we just crawled around in the living room. Last night we went to Daddy's favorite BBQ restaurant for his birthday celebration. Some of Mommy and Daddy's closest friends were there. I spent all night flirting with the hostess. It was quite an evening and I was so wiped out I passed out in my car seat. Mommy says I look like a little old man in an easy chair because I'm holding the remote and snoring. Here's a little video of me playing with Daddy yesterday.
