Walk The Line

I did it friends... I figured out how to walk today!! I took my first steps at daycare, but I'm continuing my wonder walking here at home. Here's a short clip. Don't laugh Mommy took my pants off so I wouldn't trip. I'll wear pants from now on when walking.

Model Behavior

A couple of months back my friend Millie and I went to a photo shoot for baby models. We had so much fun. Mommy now has some of my modeling proofs. These were pre-haircut and before teeth. Likes and Dislikes

I'm getting to be a very opinionated little man. I have a whole list of things I like and dislike. I love peaches, but I dislike trying to eat them out of a bowl. Just spread them on my tray please. I like playing with my toys so much that I like to climb into my toy box. I like wearing bunny ears. OK I really like chewing on the bunny ears not wearing them. I like trying new foods including spaghetti and chicken meatballs. I dislike getting stuck behind the couch when I crawl back there but I really, really like it when Mommy comes to save me. California Dreaming

Friends it has been wet and miserable here in Decatur since Friday night. The rain has been cold and the weekend was dreary. It made me think back to a better time.... the weekend before when my friend Millie and I went to the park. The weather was so warm we were wearing shorts. Silly Saturday

Because my Nannie left yesterday and I was feeling a little bit blue, my Mommy and Daddy did all kinds of silly things to cheer me up. After we dropped Nannie off at the airport, Daddy set up a sun shade on the front lawn and put my bouncer inside so that I could play while he and Mommy raked leaves. I love being outdoors! In fact I am starting to cry at the sliding glass door so that I can get outside. The weather was so nice yesterday, a sunny 76 degrees. My shade keeps me from getting sunburned. Mommy and Daddy say it will be perfect for my first trip to Jazz Fest in May.


All of that raking was hard work and Mommy and Daddy worked up a sweat. Daddy thought he would cool down with a sugar free juice pop. Little did he know I had other plans. I stole it from him and enjoyed my first popsicle. It was so delicious and sticky that Daddy had to give me a middle of the day sponge bath. We decided then that the rest of the afternoon would be clothing optional because I was so warm and interested in getting messy.

I saw Daddy eating something out of a bowl later and I chased him around and around begging for food. He decided to give me a big people's bowl and spoon with a dollop of baby food inside. Do you know how far you can smear food?! The answer is very, very far. Mommy took like a million pictures of the mess and my puppy's attempt to clean the baby food off my leg. Snowy Sunday

Friends Sunday was a huge day for me in so many ways. I woke up with my second tooth and then it snowed! I spent most of the afternoon watching the snow from my back door. At first we didn't think there would be very much and by the end it looked like a winter wonderland. Some people have commented about me using a pacifier in a lot of pictures these days. Ever since my teeth started coming, I just really like to chew on it. Mommy is not a fan of it, but she is a fan of whatever makes me feel better when those teeth are being a pain in the gums.

I also indulged my half Canadian side today. I ate salmon for the first time and I LOVED it. I liked it so much that I had it for lunch and dinner. I also tried spaghetti squash for the first time. It's definitely more fun to play with than to eat. I think I may be getting another tooth because I sure am feeling very, very, very cranky.

Twice as Nice

Friends I woke up with my second tooth today! It's on the bottom right next to my first tooth and it's only poking out a little. I'm sorry I haven't blogged a lot but this has been such a busy week with my Nannie here. I created a little album of some of the things I've done since last Saturday.
