My Nannie, Aunt Laura and Kelly (my honorary Aunt) threw me and Mommy and Daddy a big party in Louisiana this weekend! Nannie's friends spoiled me with tons of gifts and clothes. Look at all those presents.
We got a stroller and car seat so that Mommy and Daddy can bring me home from the hospital and tons of little blue clothes so that I'm the most stylish baby on the block. Aunt Laura tried to buy everything for babies that Target sells. She had so much stuff she had to buy a wagon to haul it all to the party.
But what's a party without food? There was lots of food that reminded Mommy of home like crawfish pies and seafood dips. I liked that food, but to be honest with you I'm a sugar man. I couldn't wait for the cake!!
Kelly had the baker make the cake look like it had my little clothes all over it.
All of guests were very excited to see me and Mommy even though they haven't met me yet. They gave Mommy so much good advice about raising a rowdy little boy like me. Mommy was happy to be surrounded by such loving people.
They showered us with so much stuff that Daddy and Poppie had a hard time making all those gifts fit in our car. We drove all of the stuff back to Georgia and Daddy loaded it into my room. I'm all ready to move in! I think I have more stuff than Mommy and Daddy combined. I promise to post pictures of my bedroom, but Mommy says we have to clean it up first because it looks like a tornado whirled through there.
I'll leave you with one last picture of me and Mommy with Nannie at the party at her house. I can't believe that Mommy made me wear pink!
Love,
V
