Yummy!

I am back on the food and it's going great friends. I love sweet potatoes and this time it's a mutual feeling. Today I am going to try carrots again. Here's a picture of me from last night. I was playing on my mat with Mommy while Daddy prepped my dinner.

Weekend Wonders

Friends I hope you had a great weekend because I sure did. On Friday I wore my first pair of jeans. Mommy says they make me look like a little man. It's so much fun to scratch my nails on the fabric because it makes a funny sound. During the day Saturday Mommy, Daddy and I ran errands and had a lot of fun family time.

Saturday night was a big night for me. I wore pajamas for the first time and I had my first slumber party! We went over to our neighbor's house for dinner. My neighbor Sam is 16 months old and he's so cool. While Mommy and Daddy ate dinner I got to sleep in an extra crib in Sam's room. I was having so much fun that I gave Daddy a mean look when he took me home to finish sleeping the night away in my own crib.

My Saints played on Sunday. Mommy, Daddy and I met some other Who Dats at a sports pub to watch the game. I had so much fun because no one there cared when I cheered.... even if it was really, really loud. It was a lot of fun because there were other Saints fans there and no 49ers fans.

I was having a small growth spurt this weekend because during the game I wanted a bottle every single hour. What can I say, some guys like to drink when they watch football. Uncle Joe and Mommy's friend Ms. Belinda got in on the fun and helped me cheer during the game. I bet Uncle Joe that I could cheer louder than he could and trust me I won.

The best part of Sunday was when the Saints won! I was so happy that I gave Ms. Belinda a big smooch. What an exciting weekend!

Food For Thought

After a three week hiatus, I'm going back to baby food friends. I really hope that it doesn't hurt my tummy this time. I ate sweet potatoes last night and they were just as delicious as I remember them. Keep your fingers crossed that the stomach pains don't come back.

I'm looking forward to the weekend. My Mommy and Daddy are both off from work and we have so many fun things planned. We are going to play at our neighbors house on Saturday and then on Sunday we are going to go watch the Saints play. Go Saints!!!

Fall Fashion

The weather is getting cooler and that means a whole new world of clothes for a little baby like me. Every day my Mommy and Daddy make sure I'm wearing shorts or pants on my little legs and I get to wear socks too. It's super fun to play with shorts or pants on because I can try to crawl out of them.

Mommy has nipped that in the bud by putting me in overalls for the past two days. They're pretty cool and all the teachers at school say they are precious. School is going really well. Usually there are just 3 of us boys and one girl in my class. In October I will get to take my first school picture. Mommy says she can't wait to meet the magician photographer who is going to get me to keep my eyes open after the flash goes off. She says she has a million pictures of me with my eyes closed.

I was having a little bit of a lazy morning today. I did not want to leave my warm little crib. Mommy had to wake me up anyway so that I wouldn't be late for school. Here's a picture of me still looking sleepy even after I got dressed for school. Who doesn't love to sleep in? Mommy hopes I'll feel the same way on Saturday morning when she gets a chance to sleep in.

Friends I hope you have a great day. I'm all bundled up and going to school. Enjoy the fall weather.

Mission Possible

I was up to some funny crib antics last night friends. Mommy and Daddy put me to bed but I had other things in mind. I managed to break loose from my velcroed swaddler blanket. When Mommy and Daddy looked at the video screen on my monitor I was a blur of creeping baby looking straight into the camera and making my move. But that was not the end. Mommy and Daddy heard a plastic crinkling noise and thought I was joining a nudist colony by taking off my diaper. But to their surprise I had untied several staps on the bumper pad and was crinkling the plastic tag. I have so many tricks up my sleeve! Here's a picture of me in my crib this morning, refreshed and ready for another day of mischief.

Cruising to Carolina

Mommy and I went on a roadtrip this weekend. We drove to Charlotte to visit some of Mommy and Daddy's friends there. Even though I am still not a fan of car rides, this was well worth the trip. We stayed with my Aunt Jen. She has the sweetest dog Princess. Every time I sounded even the least bit unhappy she barked at Mommy and Aunt Jen. She was really looking out for me!

Aunt Jen has carpet and I decided that I love, love, love carpet. I got to practice my crawling skills. I'm going to figure that crawling thing out one of these days friends. Our visit to Charlotte was very social. We vent out for lunch with Ms. Latoya and then we went to a women's expo. I was in my glory. It was a building filled with ladies all commenting on how cute I am.

Mommy and Aunt Jen had to improvise to make sure I still got my bath while on vacation. I got to put my hiney in Aunt Jen's sink! He he he, it was so funny. Here's a picture of me scrubbing up in the sink. There's a carefully placed towel because this is a G-rated blog. Mommy was laughing when she took this picture. She said she can't wait to show this picture to my prom date. I'm not sure what that means, but I know it's not good!

It was a little chilly in Charlotte this weekend. Fall is finally here! I got to wear my first pair of socks. Socks are so fascinating. I tasted them when I put my feet in my mouth. They are much more fuzzy than just plain old toes. Mommy says this is another picture that will make me groan when I get older.

On Sunday Aunt Jen had a brunch for my big Charlotte debut. Alison, Bronson and Molly were all there to hold me and play with me. It was so exciting that I threw up on Mommy! Thankfully everyone thought that was funny and laughed... phew that could have been embarrassing. Here's a picture of me and my Aunt Jen. I am so thankful that Mommy and Daddy have such nice friends and they are only a 3 hour drive away.

You Win Some You Lose Some

Friends I'm still reeling from the Saints football game yesterday. I can't believe that we lost! Mommy and I met up with some friends to watch the game. I loved it. It was the perfect storm of fun. There were lots of tv screens, lots of noise and best of all lots of people who wanted to hold me. Here's a picture of me and my friend Drew watching the game. But make no mistake, yesterday he was my enemy because he's a Redskins fan and they beat us.

The Secret Formula

I had my first bottle of formula yesterday. I'm just growing so fast and for a little boy, I need a lot of bottles! Mommy and Daddy were very thankful that it didn't hurt my tummy and make me wail like a banshee. I'm hoping Mommy and Daddy bring back the sweet potatoes and carrots soon because they were delicious!

Playing Catch Up

Friends I have had such a busy week that I had to take a break from my blog. Last weekend my Nannie and Poppie came to my house to get away from a bad man named Gustav. He was a hurricane that hurt Aunt Kelly's house and Nannie and Poppie's house. Because of the storm Nannie and Poppie were able to stay with me until Thursday. We had so much fun playing and going for walks. I even played hooky from school to stay home with them.

While they were visiting, I ate my very first bad vegetables. I loved them but alas they did not love me back. First I ate sweet potatoes and they made me fussy and made my tummy hurt so Mommy stopped giving them to me. Then I tried carrots. They didn't taste as good as sweet potatoes, but I will eat anything you put in front of me. They made my tummy hurt too so it's back to rice cereal for me.

Mommy and Daddy say when I'm six months old we'll try vegetables again. But the experience wasn't a total wash, I got to sit in my new highchair. It's so much fun. I start smiling every time Mommy clips me in because I know that I always get food when I'm in that chair.

I also discovered this week that my puppy Kayle is going to be my best friend. She lets me pet her and she even comes near me and stands still so I can look at her. Mommy thinks that Kayle isn't being completely sweet that sometimes she's just after my baby food. My other puppy Lilith is still scared of me and runs away whenever I look at her.

My Grandma and Grandpa came to visit on Friday. It was a week filled with Grandparents! We had lots of fun over the weekend. We went for a stroll around Stone Mountain on Saturday while Mommy was at work. I'm starting to get used to my stroller. I still don't really like to be strapped in anywhere because I am a man on the move and don't like to be contained.

It was a typical Georgia summer day, so it was pretty hot. When I got home Daddy stripped me down to just my diaper and my hat. I think it's a pretty good look for me. What do you think?

My Grandma bought me an exersaucer that's so much fun and it looks like a crazy rocket ship! It's really fun to play with especially when Daddy gets on my level and talks to me while I'm playing. We have the best conversations. Daddy sometimes gets close enough to that I can hold on to his facial hair. It's crazy he makes the funniest noise!

Well friends I hope you are all well. I'm back at school and missing all my grandparents.
